There’s nothing like working with a pair of rape apologists.
The gist of it is this; they’ve seen in their military careers soldiers rape people, both within and without the military, and their attitude toward it is “You don’t report your buddy you’ve served with and risked life and limb with for them raping people. And if you do you should expect to be “accidentally” friendly fired by the other guys, so that’s another reason not to.”
To make it better, their objection to women officially serving in all combat roles is “Where will they shower and change? Also they’ll get raped because boys will be boys and can’t control themselves under high-stress war conditions. And no way is that in any way changeable or avoidable.”
